|The Non-Surgical Facelift also called the 8 Point Facelift is a procedure that is used to restore the natural volume to your mid and lower face giving an overall ‘lifting’ effect.|
What is a Non-Surgical Facelift?
Up to now, the traditional approach to treating facial volume loss has been to use dermal fillers in localised areas where the need for volume is most evident. For example, filling out prominent nose-to-mouth lines or plumping up thinning lips.
But the new Non-Surgical Facelift (also known as the 8 Point Facelift or Liquid Facelift) takes a more holistic approach that is individually tailored to you.
Looking at your face as a whole, your practitioner treats not just the locally affected areas (the symptoms of volume loss), but addresses the root cause – a loss of volume throughout the mid and lower face.
The Non-Surgical Facelift is hugely popular in the USA and Brazil (where it was created by Plastic Surgeon Mauricio De Maio), and has made its way to the UK over the past year. There are currently only a limited number of UK clinics offering this treatment, and we are delighted to be one of them.
Which areas can be treated with the Non-Surgical Facelift?
The non-surgical facelift will restore volume to your cheeks, soften your nose-to-mouth lines (nasolabial folds), lift downturned mouth corners and firm your jawline and jowl area. This gives your entire mid and lower face a natural but noticeable ‘lift’.
What does the treatment involve?
The treatment itself uses a range of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers called Juvederm VYCROSS™. These dermal fillers are longer-lasting than the 1st generation of Juvederm fillers giving you longer-lasting results. These dermal fillers are injected into eight carefully selected points on each side of the face; hence the name 8 Point Facelift.

How long does the treatment take?
To determine your suitability for this treatment you will first have an injectable consultation with one of our experienced medical aesthetic practitioners. They will discuss with you your expectations and desired results following treatment as well as going through your medical history. If both you and the practitioner are happy to go ahead with the treatment you will be booked in for a follow-up appointment. During this appointment you will first have topical anaesthetic applied over your mid and lower face to minimise pain during the treatment. This will be left on for approximately 30 minutes. The procedure itself then takes 45 minutes to complete.
How long will the results last?
Because the Non-Surgical Facelift is individualised to you, with injections precisely adapted to fit your profile, the results are natural and in complete harmony with your face.
Results can be seen around 1-2 weeks after treatment, and may last for up to 18 months – longer than regular dermal filler treatments.
