Semi-permanent make up – the guilt-free way to sleep with your make-up on

Semi-permanent make-upShock horror… X Factor star Stacey Solomon has just gone public with the admission that she goes to bed with a full face of make-up on. The shame!

But she’s not alone.

A recent survey carried out on British women has found that someĀ 79% of us regularly go to sleep without removing our make-up.

We all know it’s bad for us, we all know it can play havoc with our skin, eyelashes, etc – but after a night out, when we’re absolutely shattered and a bit worse for wear, and that comfy bed is a-calling, removing make-up falls way down the list of priorities.

But if you’re getting fed up of waking up with mascara all over your face and lip liner all over your pillow, semi-permanent make-up could be the answer.

Semi-permanent make-up, also know as cosmetic tattooing, can be used to give you colour on your lips, thicken and improve the shape of your brows, and give you eyeliner and “mascara” effects to bring out your eyes and lashes.

It stays in place for months, never smudges or runs – and best of all, never needs to be taken off at the end of the day, or reapplied in the morning. So you wake up every morning as beautifully made up as when you went to bed.

It’s especially good if you’ve got a busy lifestyle, and want to save time in your morning routine or when going out for the night.

If you like the idea of going to bed made up but completely guilt-free, come and talk to the Aurora Skin Clinics team about semi-permanent make-up. Give us a call on 01844 211777 or drop us an email to
