All of us have moles. Moles are growths on the skin and they are very common. Moles and skin lesions have different forms.
There are 2 main groups:
1. Nonmalignant
2. Cancerous lesions
Lesions come majority in moles. Moles can be pink, tan or brown. It can also be flat or raised. As we get slightly older we get more moles. They can grow big and can look like brown little pearls that are raised on the skin and it will slowly grow in time as we get older.
The most common type of noncancerous skin conditions on moles are the pigmented, brown flat or larger moles. We can also get sunspots and an area of thickened skin and several keratoses (a growth of keratin on the skin). All benign skin lesions can be removed. The best and easier way to remove this is when it is still small.
If you are worried about a mole, you need to see a specialist. When it changes in color, surface, size and starts to itch, these can be a sign of a skin cancer. Better see a doctor so that it can be removed while it is still in an early stage.
