Localized hyperhydrosis specifically affects your palms, soles, armpits and face. Compared to generalized hyperhydrosis, it usually begins in adolescence, but it can also manifest in childhood or even infancy. It is caused by spinal cord injury, certain odor, certain foods like coffee chocolate, peanut butter or spices or heat and emotional stress.
