Dermaroller

Dermaroller is a great addition to our repertoire of treatments. It is actually a little roller that has lots of microneedles on it, and through this process of microneedling the skin, we create tiny microchannels. What these do is they stimulate the skin and actually produce a little bit more collagen and leave the skin looking smoother and brighter. What we are finding is that Dermaroller currently enhances some of the procedures that we are performing in aesthetic medicine such as Botox®. What we have find historically is we don’t always get the smoothness that we would like underneath the eye and certainly the dermaroller is treatment of choice there.
